Classic Chevys of Reno has a new friend and sponsor that I want everyone to know about. The name of this organization is TKO MotorSports. This company is definitely raising the bar for all the businesses in the car hobby. Dave,Jerry and Chuck are a class-act that want to be involved not only with CCR, but also in the community through CCR. Myself,Jim McD, Rusty and Chuck have met numerous times with Dave and have really gotten to know these people and what they want to accomplish. How I found out about TKO MotorSports was through an article on page 88,89 of the April edition of Hot Rod magazine. The 41 Willys is right here in Reno and is the first of various project cars they are building. They also have a 63 Vette, a Ford GT40 and some yet undisclosed cars in the works.
TKO MotorSports will have an unbelievable display at this year's Classics In Paradise car show to introduce themselves and their products. They are awesome. TKO MotorSports has also stepped up to be our featured sponsor because they believe in supporting a great organization such as CCR. You will have to be at the show to meet Dave and his constituents,you won't be sorry.
Dave has also come up with an idea to work with CCR and hopefully some of our other great sponsors to put together a program to work with teen-agers interested in the car hobby. Look for more on this as it develops.
